Zurich

Today we were leaving Paris..3 of us all agreed that this will be the 1st time in paris and the last too..cos it was really too dirty, smelly and unsafe here..so we were very happy to go back to Switzerland...yeah!!



Took the train to Zurich..and need to carry the heavy luggages and find the hotel again..the worst thing was it was on a slope!! SHIT!!



So we took a cable car up the slope but to realise we were still far...still a distance to walk..haiz..finally managed to reach...

Then we went for lunch at Macdonalds!

Dinner was at Crazy cow restaurant below our hotel..it was really cute!

5th day in paris

Today was the 5th day in Paris..will be leaving Paris back to Swiss tml afternoon..We didn't had much place to go..in the morning we go back to Sacré-Cœur to go for last minute shopping for souvenirs, then had lunch somewhere there too..

Then we proceed to Eiffel Tower to go up to the top..

Nice scenery from the top...reached there at around 6plus..managed to get the sunset..

As the sky turned dark.....

Night..

Now, we were 10 745km away for Singapore..haha..

Then we went for a superb dinner at one of the high end restaurant in the Eiffel tower..

But no one will know that the last day in Paris will be a disaster for all of us..

We went home later than usual cos of the late dinner..while we were on the train back to the hotel, one grandmother and her grandson stood beside LL and tapped her bag continuously..i tink she want a seat or wat so i asked LL to give up her seat to her..then we realised that KY was surrounded by 2 gangsters..they tried to talk to him and even put their arms around his shoulders..of course he pushed them away but they still went on..we were so worried cos he was a distance away from mi and LL..so we called him to join us but he didn't..we dun know wat the 2 guys wan..scared that they will try to beat him or harmed him..LL called him and took out her phone pretending to call the police..

Then another stop, another man came in, and i felt that he tried to move behind mi, so LL told mi to move so that he can move in..but in the meantime, we were looking at the 2 guys..worrying abt wat might happen..at last, we reached our station and we went down..luckily the guys nv followed us..if not...i really dun know what we should do..

While we were walking down the streets, i realized that my bag was opened..SHIT!!! then i checked the things in that compartment..it got my passport and hp..luckily everything was still intact..heng!!! then KY realized that his pouch was opened too..and he lost some souvenirs and our maps..must be that 2 guys who try to distract him and took his things..so scary!!! really need to be careful of pickpockets in Paris..

In the end, we were all so terrified by the incident that we cant find our hotel..haha..OMG!! already so panicked, wanted to go to a safe place asap and we cant managed to find the hotel..lol..in the end, finally found and we discuss abt the incident and found out that the whole gang of them total up to around 6 pple..scary!!

4th day in paris

4th day in Paris..had breakfast at Macdonald's..was hoping for big breakfast like in Singapore but it was not..it was sausage muffin and bread with orange juice and coffee..anyway it was nice la..

Since today is the 1st sun of the month so the museum is free..so we went to Louvre very early in the morning to avoid the crowd..
And here we are....i really love this place..cos i saw Da Vinci Code and a lot of scenes were filmed here..so cool to be here in person..

Then we went to see the history of Louvre..found out that the pyramid in the center was not there before until 1989..

After the museum visit, we walked to Notre-Dame de Paris..on the way, we noticed that the sky was really different..there were like 2 layers of clouds..

We had lunch at one of the restaurant near Notre-Dame..the food was really nice and i tried my 1st escargot..

Then we walked again to the Patheon for a photo shot..

We rushed to Musée d'Orsay to see if we can still get in..reached there at 5pm and it closed at 6pm..but the security dun allow anyone to go in le..sad!!! so took some pics outside loh..


Went to see Eiffel tower in the evening since we got nothing much to do too..and it might rain tml which we planned to visit it..so here we are..really cool!!

We waited for the lights to come up..really nice tower..

Every hr starting from 8pm -11pm, there will be flashing lights making the tower flashed like diamonds..spectacular!!!

For dinner, we went to some restaurant near Moulin Rouge..
