Dinner at Sum Kee food

Dinner at Sum Kee food..a very wu lu place to go..luckily we got car there..i bought groupon online so we went to try the food..

Dinner with dean and lynn to celebrate lynn's birthday! Lynn suggested a korean restaurant and say the food was really nice..so we go try..

After work went for Korean BBQ at marina square with my colleagues..the food was ok..

The soba fish was nice but the other was normal..i still like two day one night!!

When i got home, i finally got Jay's new album..which was supposed to be out on 11.11.11 then i got it until today..haiz :( my version was the last to be in the stores..

Start of autograph session so we went for dinner first for one hr and then came back to queue..

Luckily we still managed to get his autograph..yeah :P

Pulau Semakau

Had the chance to visit Pulau Semakau today..super good cos can take half a day off work and can go for a educational tour to a island which i nv heard before..

Here we are at Pulau Semakau aka "rubbish island"

Why is it known as that? Becos the rubbish that was collected in Singapore and incinerated was bought here to this island for reclaiming..

The place where the ash was collected..

The island had a solar pane and wind mill for self sufficient electricity..

The island was used for recreation purpose..u can go for tour like mangrove or coral tour..BBQ or camping, educational tour for students, even star gazing at night..

Clever idea of using ash for reclaimed and can be used for recreational purposes too..the island will be reclaimed in 2045 if the rubbish amount we produced remain the same..so the main thing that they emphasized on was the 3R, Reuse, reduce and recycle..

Then we went for thai food at shaw towers..super nice food n cheap too :)

Dinner was planned to be at Liang court for thai buffet..but the restaurant closed le..sad :( So find another alternative for dinner..chinese food..
