20th Century Boys

Finally decided to watch the 20th century boys today..cos wanted to watch it the week before but since my sis won free tics again..so need to get the tics 1st then can watch..so after work went to marina square and met up with my sis and shan..

The story goes like this:

In 1969, Kenji, an elementary school kid and his friends built a secret base during their summer holidays. They fantasized that they had to fight villains who were out to conquer the world and wrote them in the "Book of Prophecies". Years later in 1997, Kenji becomes a convenience store manager and leads a regular life after giving up his dreams to become a rock star. His boring life is suddenly turned upside down when his old classmate dies mysteriously and an entire family in the neighbourhood disappears. At the same time, a religious cult and its mysterious leader, "Friend" emerges and a strange chain of events duplicating exactly the events described in the "Book of Prophecies" follow.

A very interesting plot and full of imagination..Someone who had the power to do everything that the book say??for example: the virus attack and the big big robot that was used to destroy the world..cool!!! await the second espisode of it..cant wait to find out who the "friend" really was??

Rubik cube

Finally solved my 1st rubik cube..yeah!! i am so happy..after yesterday morning, learning the basic part 1 then went for bowling and help my sis take things..came hm at 9 plus and started on the part 2..after a lot of tries and tries..cant figure out where i went wrong after trying until 12am..this morning, tried again by following the algorithms again..

And Ta Da~, i finally did it..

Bowling session

Bowling session..organised by recreation club..i was on leave today but i still join them at 6pm cos it should be Dean's last activity before she fly to Switzerland on mon..

Had great fun playing..although my score really sucks!!! lol :) it's only my 3rd time bowling ma..it's getting better le la..haha..

Last Sat, Mr Mak organised a BBQ at his condo at lavender..the management team was also invited..around 20 pple shown up..

Nothing much to do rather than eating..luckily got dvd to see and pass time...its called the orphanage..Spanish Horror movie..quite nice indeed..We had a lot of fun SCREAMING!!!! lol :)

Mi, Dean and Ruth went to JP for lunch cos dean said she never went to the new "japanese food street" yet..
In the end, decided to go for cheaper price and more variety at ichiban sushi..

HPLC course

Went for a 3 day HPLC course from 13-15th Oct..the class only got 6 pple and i am the only local there..3 indians and 2 from Philipines..Just got these photos from one of them..

Finally the 15th Oct is here..the album that is so anticipated is finally here!! yeah!!
Thanks to my sis and her colleague to help mi take the cd!!

After work met up with my sis at marina square for movie and dinner!! so sian to stay in jurong area..mux get out!! haha..

Had dinner at long john..so long nv eat fastfood le..so xin fu!! lol..then watch 7.20pm movie "Connected"

It's a chinese version of cellular a movie few yrs ago i think..but i nv watch it..

The movie was great!! very exciting!! send my heart beating fast! but i really doubt how a man will risk it all including his own life to save someone who he never met before?will you? if some stranger called you on the handphone and said she need your help..i think you will just say" you crazy ah? dun play pranks k" and slammed the phone..lol..thats what i will do..

Louis Koo was so daring and smart..love that scene where he need to rescue Barbie Hsu's brother in the hospital. While the bad guys were in front him on the escalator, some police were standing on another escalator.To prevent them to reach her brother before him, he throw a gun at one of the bad guys, pretending that the gun dropped from them..and this captured the sight of the policemen...................wat happened after that? catch the movie then..haha..

Yesterday met up with my sec school friends for dinner at sunset way for steamboat..

We were divided into 2 tables..in total of 10 pple came..wOo!!

My sis suddenly wanted to bake cake for her bf..so i help out loh since i got nothing to do too..lol..

Have a difficult time mixing the butter and sugar..need to use the mixer.. then add in the egg and flour..in the end, the thing turned out like this..............

We added some chocolate chips too..looked like chocolate chip ice cream!!

Pour it into the container and into the oven..

Finally the cake is out!! yeah!!
