Mr Mak BBQ

Today we had a bbq session at Mr Mak house (Citylight at lavender)..in total there were a lot of people around 20 plus which consist of ex and present colleagues of Nestle..

But the bbq plan was spoilt by the heavy rain!!! sad..luckily the food that he ordered consisted of cooked ones too..so we still had food to eat!!

Junjie Wedding

Today is my sec sch friend, Junjie's wedding..the dinner was at Swissotel..
Coincidentally, his wife is my JC friend sec sch friend..haha..and she was one of her "sisters" too..

We were early and had some photos shoots outside 1st..was really nice to see all my sec sch friends again..now wedding dinner was like a place for class gatherings too!!


The groom was soooo proud to say to mi that the "sisters" this morning was very mild!! and added that this was because i was not one of them..ARGH!!! i got soooo bad meh!! haha :)

Bowling

Today my cousins planned a bowling session for the Lee family and the Teo family!! So after the morning temple praying, the 6 of us went on car to a club at bukit batok..

At first, we wanted a friendly match between the Teo and the Lee family.. the loser team will treat dinner for the winners..then we changed to individual match..the highest point scorer for the 3 games dun need to pay for the dinner..dinner was KFC!! which i really miss a lot in Swiss..2 mths no KFC to eat..i was damn motivated!!! lol :)

The 1st game was a warm up one for mi..i played super "lan".. the winner was my sis and my 1st cousin..

So i decided to buck up and try to do my best for the second game..it was a great start for mi with "heng heng" 2 strike!! then it was lousier at the back and my 1st cousin managed to catch up with my score!! haiz...so sad!!

Then we had a short break and continue with the 3rd game..my arms were really tired and no strength le..but for free KFC i hang on!! haha..the 1st few was damn lousy, my score was the lowest of the 6..then heng heng, i managed to catch up..then need to fight with my 1st cousin for the winner again..and luckily i managed to win the 3rd in the end..yeah!!! Free KFC!!!

It was damn fun!! we had a lot of fun laughing!! The KFC was damn delicious too!! yummy!!
Let's hope for the second bowling session with my cousins again!!

Buying dress and dinner with charmaine

Miao suggested a place near Geylang for shopping of dresses for our sisters' uniform for pure wedding..so today we decided to go there and take a look..so mi, miao and ivan went, the others were not free..

We found the shop that miao was talking about..the bride wan the colour code to be silver or turquoise..so we started looking for these 2 colours..but it was really difficult to find these 2 colours..in the end, we did spot one but it was out of our budget..so we went to walk around again but nothing much le..

Miao then suggested to go Far east..so we did cos we still had time..so we walked again and try on more dresses until at one shop which had the dress that we think was really nice but need to order for the silver colour..but we cant decide on the others' behalf cos we will be wearing the same dress!! we like maybe the others dun!! so they will have to come down and try!!

Then met Charmaine, Ruth and Eileen for dinner at Geylang..cos when i am back, charmaine already left the company so they suggested for a dinner together..it was really scary for 4 gals to walk in the night along the streets of Geylang..OMG!! anyway we had nice bah ku teh and beancurd for our dinner..

Then we went shopping at Bugis area..charmaine bought a lot of stuffs..she was on shopping spree ya.. then had a drink and chit chat..i was really glad that Charmaine is doing well!!

1st day a t work

1st day at work was a disaster for mi....a lot of "bad news" which i already know some..at least i was mentally prepared!!

A lot of my lab people were leaving and some had already left!! now the people in my lab was getting lesser and lesser..that will mean that the people here will have to do more things le..SHIT!!! Today was a meeting day...had to discuss the schedule of training for mi and another colleague..cos we were going to learn GMO..oh my!! another new thing that i dun even know anything abt..haiz...But no choice, not much people to train too le..so i will have to start training the 2nd day i am back!!

Feeling soooooo tired today..was trying to keep myself awake in the meetings..haha :) my brain cant really work too!! i need my sleep!!!

back in Singapore

Finally back to Singapore after 2 mths and 2 weeks..yeah!! really nice to see my family members at the airport including my 2 babies, lei lei and quan quan...lol :)

So nice to sleep on my own bed again!! haha..thought i will have jetlag and cant sleep until maybe 3am..but i didnt..i slept at 11pm (Singapore time)..lol..i think i am just too tired!!!

Then today, met my "sisters" for a dinner gathering..was quite a last minute thing but luckily they all give mi face..lol :) We had dinner at Jp and we need to discuss a lot of things for Pure's wedding..the things that we going to prepare..the schedule for that day...the colour code of our dress....the nasty things specially arranged for the groom and etc!! lol :)

In the end, we were busy discussing about other stuffs and my trip..anyway, we will have to find the dress soon..we had only around one month time left le!!!so exciting!!!

Last day in Swiss and my holiday

Last day in Swiss and my last day for my holiday!!!Argh!! back to Singapore, back to work and of course back to my family and friends finally!!

We wanted to have Chinese food for lunch..LL got the info that there was one near the shopping street in zurich..so we went..and the food was really Asian cooking style and really good indeed!!

Did last minute shopping in Zurich and we went to one big big toy store..really cool!! spend a lot of time in there playing..haha.. Halloween was coming so there was a lot of deco for that..

I really gain a lot experience from this Swiss training trip and really enjoyed my holiday with LL and Ky although there were some scary moments..now back to Singapore and back to reality!! HAiz!!!

Luzern

Today went to luzern for one day trip..
And here we are..a very nice and peaceful place..

Had to do some climbing again to see the beautiful scenery!! no pain no gain ya!!

Our lunch at one Pinocchio theme restaurant cos the boss love Pinocchio and they had a dog which was named Pinocchio too..lol :)

Had a walk along Lake Luzern..

We feed swans, ducks using LL leftover biscuits..they were all so clever to know there was food when pple came close to the lake..

The Lion Monument..a big dying lion sculptured into a former sandstone quarry wall..it was really a very sad lion!!

Then nothing much to see so we went to gletschergarten..there was a museum there..

Natural Potholes formed due to the glacier 20 million years ago..

Fossils of starfish and ripples suggest that Luzern was once a beach..
