Gruyeres and Moleson

Thought i will be at home this sun..planning to clean up the house a bit..but got a msg from Petra asking me if i am free..if i wan to go Gruyeres..of course i wan to have fun!! lol :)

So Petra drove us to Gruyeres..abt 40mins journey from Lausanne..And here we are at foot at Moléson-sur-Gruyères..

We had 30mins to the cheese making demostration there..so we walked around and saw a lot of animals...including my gd buddies.....PIGS!!!

They demostrate how the cheese was made..its really interesting..but so sad we cant see the whole process..making cheese is really a very long and tiring process..

Then we saw these sledge rides..looked fun so we went to try it..CHF 6 per person..

Didnt had time to take photos down cos i am busy controlling the sledge and enjoying the way down..it was fun!!

After that we decided to go on the train and then the cable car up to Moléson..

The view was superb..the view up every mountains is sooooo different..can really see a lot of nice scenery up here..

We walked a bit upwards and reached the top of one of the peak..

Saw a big Helicopter hovering around..and it came so close to me that the sand got into my eyes... it will be cool if i was on the helicopter..

I was soooo lucky that i managed to see someone who was going to parachute down the mountain...its sooooo cool!! exciting to watch the whole process..how he prepared his parachute till the moment he jumped...WoooHooo!!

Managed to catch the last cablecar down..if not we will have to stay in the mountains for the night!! Argh!!

Went to Gruyeres for a while on the journey back..It's really a small small town..but it's nice!

No time to visit it today..Will come again to visit it again with my friends soon..lol :)

It's really a fun filled day today! i was really lucky to meet so much interesting things that i had never see before..Nice!!

Neuchatel

Today planned to go Neuchatel in the afternoon..cos its just a small town should not take up a lot of time..if there was time i will go to Chateau de Grandson too..

After lunch, started my journey to Neuchatel..

The station was a distance from the town central..i need to figure out where to walk and luckily i found it..

Had to walk and try to find my way to the Chateau..it's really not that easy to find the way here..luckily while walking saw a sign to the chateau so i followed it until i reached.................

So i pay CHF2 to go up and saw.................................

Finally found the Chateau and just in time for the guide tour too..

After the visit, went to the shopping area..walked around but never see much..so in the end, i bought food at migros again...lol..really love to shop for food..
Time really flies, in the end i cant make it to the other Chateau le..sad!! took the train at 5plus and reached lausanne at 6plus..

Got home and prepared my dinner..

Breaded chicken with fries and tempura..

The tempura prawns was a failure..dun know how to fry it until crispy using as little oil as possible..
Anyone got suggestion???
