Singapore Indoor stadium at 8pm

Had a bad time going up bus 16 to arrive at indoor..2 buses nv stopped at the busstop. nv even open the door cos it's too full!! OMG!! luckily we got on the 3rd one with a little luck and were cramped at the door..Haiz..

Concert started at around 8.35pm..

That's his JJ Baby..designed by him..they were soooo cute!! playing around on the stage..

JJ and her played a game "Hei Bai Pei" the one who lose will have to kiss the other one..and the loser is JJ..hahaha..so he had to muackS!!!



Another segment i love is when we sing bday song to JJ and then surprise..the organiser had his whole family on the stage. They played instruments while JJ sing.. Didnt know that his whole family is so talented..mum can play pi pa, bro play piano and dad play the er hu..

Sooo touching..he was even touched to tears!!


I really envy this girl...Argh!! she was selected to go up the stage and sat beside JJ at the piano and see him sing!! OMG!!! JJ even put his hands over her shoulders!! Argh!!!

new laptop

finally got my new laptop today!! yeah!! went to Sim Lim and collect..very ma fan..thanks to my sister's help or else i cant get this laptop back..so heavy!! HAHA..

We went shop around bugis area for a while but cos i got no more money to spend le
($$$ spend on my laptop)..so i really not very keen on shopping.. i only window shop..anyway in the end, i still bought something..bought a new mouse for my laptop..a black one as well..same as my lappy..

Now need to rush for time and meet shan for JJ concert tonight..yeah!! so excited about it..this is the 1st concert i go this yr..

Departures

"Departures"

Really wanted to watch it soooo much.. Finally watched it after my aerobics..

The story goes like this:

Its a story about a cellist (Daigo)who loses his job and must move back to his hometown. Once back there he reconnects with his past, and comes to terms with his life, love and dreams. Desperate to find a job, he answers an ad listed under departures, which turns out to be misspelled. It was supposed to say the departed, the job pertains to dressing, washing, and putting makeup on the deceased before the funeral. It is a job that most people look down upon because you earn money when someone dies. At first Daigo, does not like his job but little by little he comes to a new understanding of it. The process of prepping the corpse is shown in detail within the context of the story, and little by little we too as an audience get sucked in. it is an incredible ceremony to witness.

i give a 4 out of 5 stars..it got some humour, some touching scenes, some scenes that will make people cry.. this job was considered a not so good job in the movie and even his own wife thinks that he is dirty.. but he realised it in the end that this job is so meaningful and even do a proper departure for his own father which he hated so much..really moved by this show!!

My new laptop

Went to IT fair for 2 days..juz becos i wan to buy a new laptop for myself..and the pple there is a lot a lot...

went on thurs to check out all the prices and specs for all laptops..then went on sat to buy it..

In the end, i bought HP dv4-1301TX

It cost me $1299 at student price..luckily got my sis matric card if not the usual is $1899..but so sad that i didnt get it on sat..cos out of stock..so i need to go Sim Lim to get it around 10days later..haiz..i need to wait for my own new laptop le!!! so excited!!

sleepless town

Went to watch a musical on Fri the 13th after work..it's called sleepless town..cos i got free tics from my aunt..cos she is one of the producer..haha..so great to have such a capable aunt!!

Anyway she warned us again and again there is a lot of coarse language in the show..and there is really a lot..haha..other than that it's a nice show! the actors and actress can really sing and act..

The story is something like that:

Nora Mowwend has been summoned to save Sleepless Town; a world infested with crime where Criminals rule the town and where children are depleting rapidly. She needs to battle the Queen of all evil – the Black Azira. As the Black Azira brews a heinous plan to reign supreme in Sleepless Town, Nora attempts to engage the help of her Superheroes.

Alas, the Superheroes are in dire need of help themselves. Flying Fox struggles between being in the closet and not knowing what to wear. Sparrowman is having major issues with his birdhood and the Incredible Bulk has a temper as docile as Flying Fox’s granny.

Wanted to buy laptop for myself..maybe it will come to use someday..no..its definitely useful..lol..
My friend recommend laptop from dell..the one below Dell Inspiron 12..


small and light..only 1.236kg..a good choice but i am scared of small keypad..so will go see see at the IT fair coming next week..see if there is any more discount or free gifts..lol..

Another one i think it's quite good..It is Inspiron 1410..

Its heavier than Inspiron 12 cos it 14inch screen..but this got a better memory and more hard disk space..

Ermmm...really dunnoe which to buy?? i welcome any other recommendations before i make my choice..but remember my budget is only from1k to 1.2 k...lol..

Suspect X

Watch another movie again..it's Suspect X!! watch the drama series of Galileo online due to the recommendation of miao..and after watching really think that the show was great!! so when i see the trailer of suspect X i know i must watch it!!

The story goes like this:

A male body is discovered. He is strangled to death where his face pulverized beyond recognition and fingers burned to a crisp. Kaoru Utsumi (played by Kou Shibasaki) is assigned to the case. The police face great difficulty in cracking the case. Thus, she seeks advice from brilliant physicist Manabu Yukawa (played by Masaharu Fukuyama), aka Detective Galileo.

After analyzing the case, Yukawa suspects that the true genius behind everything is Tetsuya Ishigami (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi), the neighbor of victim's ex-wife. Ishigami happens to be Yukawa's college friend whom he regards as a true mathematics genius.


I thought it was a battle between the brillant physicist and the mathematics genius..something like the death note..but it was not..rather it was a touching love story behind the crime..although it was not so exciting as what i thought but it was quite a gd show..i really love Galileo (played by Masaharu Fukuyama)..so shuai and cool!!

The show which won 8 oscar awards!!!!

That's the reason i watch it today with shan..lol..if not, i dun tink i will have the interest to watch an all Indians film...

The story goes like this:

"Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. He is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"

But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show's questions. "

A very touching story!!The whole experience that Jamal went through taught us that we, in Singapore are so fortunate..people suffered cos they are too poor..as a child in India, they were taken to disfigure and beg for money..as they grew up, they are forced to do inhuman things in gangs to earn their living as they are so low educated..the love story of Jamal and Latika really touched the heart too...

Highly recommended show!! 4out of 5 for Slumdog Millionaire!!
