Switzerland

Today i am flying..flying to switzerland for 2 months...gonna miss home sooooo much..

My flight at 8.30 pm flying to tokyo but i am not going there..but transit at bangkok..

Had a late dinner at wang cafe with my family and all my friends already here to send mi off..so sorry that all of u had to rushed here and still haben had dinner..thanks guys and gals..really love u all!!

Plane after the transit is swiss air..had a difficult time trying to sleep on the plane..journey was 11 hrs..OMG!!

Dun really know which train is correct to get mi to lausanne.. need to ask pple.. had a hard time carrying my 22 kg luggage up the train too.. had to ask pple to help too..finally in the end, finally arrived at lusanne train station and next is to find my hotel!!

Switzerland trip

For your information, i am flying to switzerland for work soon..in one week plus..i am half worry, half excited about this trip..i will be leaving home for 2 months..Oh my!! this is the 1st time that i am leaving home alone for sooo long..

i am so worry about a lot of things..scared that i might forget to bring things there, scared that wat if i missed my connecting flights, wat if i cant find my hotel, wat if my luggage is lost, can i really survived alone, how abt my meals, i dun really cook..how will my working environment be, how my colleagues will be..how home sick i will be, how much i will miss my friends, family and colleagues here..

i am so excited too..about the different culture in switzerland..the beautiful scenery and the places of interest i can go..how my new neighbours and colleagues will be..the different working environment there..

Really hope that everything will turn out good!!

Jiawen 21st bday

Today is my sis 21st bday party!! her party is at my "small" home!!

From morning, we decorate the place with ribbons and balloons..

Then the food came at 5pm..i order her big bday cake from rive gauche..luckily, helen helped me delivered the cake to my home..if not i dun know how to collect it..thanks helen!

A very interesting part is when my sis introduce her bf to my relatives..haha..the relatives wan him to recognize all of them, which family they are from..haha..for your info, i got 7 aunties and 2 uncles present at the party..of course must include their family members too..Sooooo stressed!!!

To elaborate how small my home is...see the pics above..her friends need to stand outside the lift lobby to eat.. our relatives had to sit on straw mat at the lobby too..lol :) they looked sooo comical!

Night at the museum

After work, met up with niang and ning for dinner..I didnt know where they were going.. they just told mi that we met at city hall..so i did..

In the end, they gave mi a surprise and we went to mint museum of toys..although the museum was already closed but we can see some of the displays in the restaurant..

But cant take pics..the peranakan museum was more interesting then the SAM..cos i dun really understand ARTS!! too chiam!!
