Got this super sweet gift from Ed when he came back from Genting last weekend..i was super surprised by this gift..thought its only a 3 day at genting, he might buy some food or tshirt for mi only..but he spend time at the shop to edit the pic and print it on a pillow for mi..Nice :) I love it..Thanks a lot dear :)

New blog skin

Changed a new blog skin today..nothing to do at home today..everyone was out and i am here alone at home..Mum and dad went to my cousin's wedding lunch..sister went out with friends and another one out to elder's home..

So why i am at home leh?? lol :) Anyway since nothing to do so decided to change my blog skin...so how do u all find it? Nice ma? Website recommended by dean..Thanks dean!! :)

Dinner with dean and ruth

Had dinner with Dean and Ruth at IMM after work..Talked about a lot of things included work..Its seemed that they are not very happy at work..We all realized that the working culture of a company really play a great part..

In Nestle, we always helped each other when we think they need help in work..we took our initiative and asked if they need help..Now when they needed help and ask for it, their colleagues will find excuses and say that they are busy..

In actual fact, these people are considered the normal people..who would wan to help you when they had nothing to benefit and need to stay back to help u? They just need to do the things within their own responsibilities and nothing else..Why work extra just to help?

So Dean and Ruth lets just be trained ourselves to be normal people and know how to reject when the job is not under your responsibility..Let's try to be normal working adults!!!!

Kung Fu Panda 2

Watch Kungfu Panda 2 with ed today..difficult to buy tics since its school holidays now and a lot of kids will watch this..although i am not a kid but i love this movie...

A lot of humor and laughter added in the show..loved the part where they hid behind a caterpillar like thing and going around "gobbling" the enemies.. :)
Sad part when the panda get to know about his past and the truth behind his parents' death..

Highly recommended if you need a good laugh..i enjoyed it a lot..

RSAF Open house

RSAF open house..outing day again..was planning to go with my sisters, ed and my sis bf.. in the end, lei lei wanted to come along..so we bought her there too..my sis was initially scared that lei will feel uncomfortable with strangers, but in the end, i think she enjoyed herself alot..

Sundown Marathon

Sundown Marathon today...the 1st marathon that i am going and will it be the last one too?? Lol :) Anyway was not feeling well these few days and i dun think i could run a lot too..headache and cough..but nevertheless, i should go and finish my 1st marathon..

Reach Changi exhibition center quite early at around 430pm cos scared there will be no parking lots..Feeling so hungry and we ate first before the run..

What's your love language?

A very interesting article that i read about a long time ago..think its interesting so decided to share with my friends..friends in relationship/ marriage..

There are 5 different love languages..

1) Words of Affirmation: “I love you!” and unsolicited compliments are highly appreciated by people whose love language is this.

2) Physical Touch: Not so much the sexual sense… but more on hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, a peck on the forehead etc.

3) Receiving Gifts: This is not about being materialistic, but it is about appreciating the thoughtfulness behind the gift.

4) Quality Time: This is about being there, and giving undivided attention to your partner.

5) Acts of Service: Helping to take on the ‘burden of responsibilities’. Vacuuming can be a show of love..

People tend to use their own love language to express their love for their partners..but instead you should find out what's the love language for your partner..

For example, her love language is probably quality time. But her husband’s love language is acts of service and receiving gifts. So when her husband shows her love by his actions and gifts, it just does not register that he is showing her love. What SHE wanted him to do is to… spend more time with her. And when he does not, she just feels that he does not love her.

So why don't you try out this test and see whats your partner and your love language? Hope it will benefit your relationship!!

1st time voting..

Today was super excited..Singapore most interesting day..the polling day!!! It was the 1st time i will be voting in my 28 years..lol :)

This year, there were many strong opposition party and it will be a tough fight for our current government..this year will also be the 1st time that most of the Singaporeans will get to vote for their new government for the next 5 years..

I am having a hard time to make my choice..even had a strong discussion with my mum who was a "white" supporter..anyway i did my vote for my GRC and i really hope that the new government will be able to serve the people well and make Singaporeans life better in the future..

Suet Ying last day of work...

Today was the last working day for my dear colleague Suet Ying..

She will be going back hongkong...So to give her a farewell party, we decided to go 1 Altitude after work..
