Christmas party

Merry Christmas to all!!!
Had a well-spend Christmas eve with all my beloved friends....
In the afternoon, i was invited to Inky's house for sushi lunch..

In the evening, i met up with my "sistas" for our Christmas gathering..we had dinner at lotus garden at Taman Jurong..the food was not bad and it was buffet style..ate a lot for dinner so we need to do some exercise..haha..

Of course we had our Christmas exchange too..

All of us had to draw a Christmas tree on paper and fold it..then everyone take turns to pick a Christmas tree and guess who drew it..if u guess it correctly, the gift of that person will be urs..if not, you will have to wait for your turn again..

After which, we went to West Coast Mac for games to determine the winner for our grand prize..Liling bought a new game called pigs pile..its a card game that involved strategy and luck..and so we split into 2 groups to play to determine the winner...


While waiting for our turns, we decided to play with the pigs...stacko pigs..


The highest no. of pigs that can be stacked was 7...haha :)
After a few rounds of fighting, the winner emerged winning the grand prize..cool!!

Then we decided to play a few rounds of this new game Sequence until 2plus am then we proceed to go home..tiring but fun filled day!!

The Treasure Hunter

Jay is here in Singapore..for the premiere for The Treasure hunter..and of course i will be there waiting for him..lol :)
The last time he was here was for the movie "The Secret" which was directed by him..that was soooooo soooooo long ago..

Here i am at vivocity with shan...

Had to stand for 1 plus hr for his arrival and it was damn stuffy and hot..the guys in front were sooo tall..haiz..they gave some fans printed with the pictures from the treasure hunter but we were too far back cant managed to get any..so sad!!! but we saw a guy in front took the fans again and again..i think he got 5 fans or more in total..so selfish..dun even wan to pass back..wan so many for wat..

Finally he and Lin ChiLing and the director arrived..they were at Plaza Singapore before coming here..




They just stayed on stage 1 for around 10-15mins and they moved to second level where they had the 2nd stage..everyone was crazy trying to rush upstairs...OMG!!!

Managed to go up too and snapped some pics too..



They stayed for not more than 30mins then they left..so sad!! too many people until i cant even managed to catch a eye of him..sob sob!! Sometimes i really wished he was not that popular..lol:)

Then mi and shan went for dinner before we went for the premiere movie..the show left a lot of question marks in my head..was not that nice as i thought...the scenes where jay fought was cool and the sweet conversation that he had with Lin Chi Ling was quite funny..luckily got Jay chou in the show if not it will be a sian show..lol :)

Movie time

These are the 4 movies that i had watched recently in cinema or online..
Some are really nice but some are so boring..

The Storm Warriors

This show was a real disappointment..it was a long awaited show after the 1st one..after 11yrs..but it was a damn boring and stupid show..really wasted!! the storyline was as expected..a lot of computer graphics used but not that spectacular..
A show that i will never recommend to watch..

Twilight: New Moon

This movie was as slow paced as the 1st one..kinda want to fall asleep in the beginning..but when the show proceed, it was not that boring after all..the scene where the werewolves and the vampires fought was really great!! the new addition of the werewolves was really a bonus to the movie..But as i watched it online..could someone tell mi the ending? cos it ended quite suddenly that i am not sure if that was the ending?

Planet 51

This was one movie that is really light hearted and cute..make me laugh and make my day!! The story goes when a human landed at planet 51 and was considered as an alien, the funny things that he encountered and how an "alien" helped him to go back to the spaceship so that he could get back to earth..some scenes were really touching!! A nice family movie..

The blockbuster that everyone was waiting..so wat can i say? its really great!!1st movie that i watched in 3D..the graphics was excellent..the scene at night was beautiful..how a human was trained to become one of them and in the end, betrayed his own pple and help the Na’vi..it had the indication how human destroyed the mother nature because of human's own selfish needs..
A very nice show to watch indeed..

Now i am awaiting "The Treasure Hunter" starring Jay chou and Lin Chi Ling..hopefully it will be a great show too..haha..it will be great la..................

Company Christmas Party

This year was the 1st yr that we had our Christmas party outside of company..It's held at the Grand Hyatt..but it was a combination of Christmas party and family day which was supposed to be 2 separate days loh..the party was a tea party which started at 2pm and ended at 5pm..

Overall it was quite alright la..but becos its family day so a lot of games were organized for kids..

After work, Dean, Eileen and me met Mavis at Jurong Safra for dinner..although it was only the 1st day that Mavis did not come to work, i can already feel the "silence" in the lab..miss her soooooo much!!!

Today went for dinner with my cousin at Suntec..very long never see him and was surprised that he ask me for a meet up..

He said he will bring me to eat good food..looking forward to it..
