Day 6

Day 6:Sunny

Another day at Jeju..leaving jeju today le..sad!! miss my teddy bears sooooo much..
Had a hearty breakfast of abalone porridge..yummy!! although not much abalone la..next proceed to Yongduam Dragon Rock...



got a very interesting story told by our tour guide abt this rock..see below for the pic..wat did u all see????its a shape of a dragon emerging from the sea at the back there was a arrow that was stuck at it's back...can see????haha..

the story goes: there was a snake in the sea that stole the pearl from the palace as it wanted to rise to heaven..when the snake emerged from the sea, it changed to a dragon..but god from heaven found out that the snake was the one that stole the pearl, it shot an arrow at the snake when it was rising from the sea and form this natural sculpture..





Next was the mysterious road..experience going uphill in the bus with th engine turned off..so amazing rite???but the truth was the road was going actually going down slope rather than up..it's our eyes playing tricks and think that the road was going uphill..cool!!!

Secret

Jay chou 1st movie..《不能说的秘密》
Jay as the main actor, director, story writer..really admired him from the bottom of my heart..can be a great singer and a great director too..

watched yesterday at this time at bugis..already bought the tics before i went to korea..waiting to watch this show for a long time le..finally watched it..really nv disappoint mi..great movie..everyone must go watch..highly recommanded..if u r Jay fan, you can't possible miss it!!

the story start with xiao lun(Jay) transferred to a new sch..on the 1st day, he is walking along the corridor of the music rooms, heard a tune that attracted his attention..he went searching where the music come from and meet the main actress who is xiao yu..when he asks her wat the tune is..she answer it is a secret..they fall in love at first sight and the story goes on with their romance story..sweet & simple..the twist comes when xiao yu suddenly disappeared when she & jay have a misunderstanding..Jay went searching for her and found out the secret she was keeping all along...............

those who watched the secret and know wat the secret was..nv nv tell any1 abt it k...Jay say so one..haha..

Day 5

Day 5:Sunny


Had a simple breakfast and head to airport for flight to Jeju..the place i been looking forward to..yeah!! my teddy bear museum...finally...after touched down at jeju 1st thing was the weather was real hot..OMG!!

1st destination was the teddy bear museum..(featured in "goong" the korean drama) when i got in, i was immersed in all sorts of teddy bears..in many different costumes, different styles..more teddy pics in my flickr...cute!!! wanted to buy a teddy bear for myself but really veri ex..a medium size bear cost $30 plus..not to be missed were the bears from "goong"of course muz take a pic with Alfred bear..lol..

Next was Songup Folk Village where they show us the lifestyle of the pple during the past..the traditional toilet(juz a hole la), old houses and how the women had to carry heavy pots to carry water to use at hm..this lady very cute..she say she was the "3sec star" cos she was in the drama serial " Da chang jin" washing clothes in the background..lol..

Day 4

Day 4: Cloudy

Early in the morning after breakfast, we went for hot spring..heard tat have to be naked and bathe in public.. a little bit uneasy but wanted to try it out anyway.. juz quickly bathe and wear swim suit shd be ok bah..lol..luckily there was a lot of pple, so the tour guide told us juz changed to swimsuit..dun need to bathe..yeah!! haha..the hot spring, pool, spa area were all very big..so sad..cant took pics of them..haizz..pic taken below after the swim:


Lunch was cold noodles that many of the tour pple dun like..for mi, i still tink its quite special and tasty..did any1 ever saw watermelon in noodles??? lol..


Travelled by bus for another long journey before we reached Bulguksa Temple..nice historical place again..but no interest to mi..juz took pics here and there..lol..interesting thing was there was a place for pple to stack up stones from the ground and made their wishes..the stones cant topple down if not the wish will not come true..




Dinner was BBQ again..yeah!! my favourite...lol..below was our cute photographer frm korea helping us with the bbqing...

Day 3

Day 3:Cloudy

1st stop at Everland theme park...its a gigantic theme park with lots of thrilling rides but due to limited time we can't queue for those rides that took up a lot of waiting time..unfortunately most of the rides need at least 20 mins..haiz..those rides i wan were even longer..haiz..so sad!!!

in the end took a safari ride together with my tour mates..the animals roamed freely and when the bus came close the bears, tigers, lions will come to get food frm the driver..the bears were well trained tat they can dance, stand, wave, catch food with their paws..so interesting!!

there was a beautiful flower garden in the theme park too..really nice..lots of pretty flowers everywhere....4 pretty gals definately must leave their footprints there rite??lol..below were some of the rides that we went for:

took abt 5hrs bus journey to reached our hotel (Decksan Spa CAstle) dinner was mushroom steamboat..with all kinds of different mushrooms in it..(miao favourite)...the rooms were pretty big..like own house..got stove, utensils etc..nice view of the pool in the spa castle frm our room too..Hot spring tml morning!! yeah!!

Day 2

Day 2:Windy


This is part of han jiang.. where we had our breakfast on board a building near the river..

Next we proceed to Mount Sorak..took cable car up the summit and climb our way up..it's windy and raining when we got there..so slippery to climb up the rocks..got a few pple slipped when going down..scary!!!




Then we reached a temple at the bottom of Mt Sorak(Shinhungsa Temple)..went to light a candle and pray for happiness and healthiness for our families..lunch was Korean BBQ..yeah!! got pork no need to eat kim chi & vege le..



Next to Everland theme park where we got for a ride in their zoo..the animals there roamed freely and approached our bus cos they wan food..the bears can stand upright, catch food with their paws, dance and say hi..all were so well trained..but its really very close to u..juz a window away...scary!!! there was a flower garden in Everland too..and it was beautiful..pretty flowers everywhere...nice!!!



We reached Yongpyong Dragon valley for the nite stay..its the place where they filmed "Winter Sonata"..u all shd know wat show was tat..so popular rite..but cos its summertime there was no snow, no skiing too..anyway there was a place like a small museum for winter sonata..all the things related to the show was there..even the uniform they wear and the table tat they sit on..

Korea trip Day 1

Day1 : Rainy day

Reached Korea at abt 6+ am in the morning..nv really sleep well on the plane..pop 2 panadols on the plane now feeling a bit dizzy and sleepy..met our tour guide at the airport...a pretty korea lady who can speak chinese quite well and met the other 10 pple in our tour group..so we started our journey in Korea!!!

1st destination of the day was National Folk museum

bought us there to understand the culture and the lifestyle of koreans frm the past to now..

Lunch was quite ok..its a steamboat + "shi guo pan fan" (dish u always see in korean show that they mixed everything up in a bowl and eat)

Next was korean traditional centre where i tried to do kimchi and wear their traditional costume- Hanbok..not bad rite..my kimchi looks ok bah????lol....

Got to get close to Rain and took a photo wif him too..(lynn dun envy ah..lol..)

Shopping at Myongdong shopping street end the 1st day...ate korea ginseng chicken soup for dinner..yummy!!! when we got to the hotel guess wat i saw when i drawn the curtains...Argh!!!! Nestle building right in front of the window...so scary!! holiday also cant get clear of nestle...

I am back

Yo pple i am back in Singapore le..yeah!! really miss my family, friends, colleagues and most of all the food here...yummy!! did anyone miss mi??????haha...i hope there is....lol..

taken a lot of pics..going to spend a lot of time downloading and sorting out..so stay tune for more updates of my korea trip..hope i have the time to do it...lol..so tired now maybe still got time lag(1hr difference only la)..lol..reached Singapore at 10pm yesterday..so tired..got a lot of unpacking to do today..haiz..

went to ktv wif miao juz now..miss KTV too much..haha..now time 2 unpack and sort out..stay tune for more updates...........

Flying to Korea

Yo guys & girls!!! the day i been waiting for is finally here..today i will be flying to korea for holiday.. now i dun feel very excited but tired..i feel like i am getting sick..having slight fever and body ache now(maybe its the rain bought down by Jay)..bringing a whole set of panadol juz in case..hopefully i will be ok when on the plane and in korea...i dun wan to spend my holidays in bed sleeping..NO!!NO!!NO!! see ya on national day!! Advanced greetings for Singapore: Happy 42th Birthday Singapore!!! will miss u!! u all muz miss mi too!!! lol...cough cough!!
