A day with lei lei

A great day spend with my dear lei lei today..cos super long nv take her out to walk walk le..so since she dun have swimming lessons today so we decided to take her to Imm for dinner..

We ate at a Taiwanese restaurant at Imm..she really love the pearls in the bubble tea and the Taiwanese sausage..

YOG closing ceremony

Its the end of the 1st Youth olympics in Singapore..we want to go watch the badminton match that day but in the end, the tics were sold out and so we bought the closing ceremony instead..

So here we are at the closing ceremony after a quick dinner..

It was quite a short closing ceremony with not much performances la..but it's still a remarking event in Singapore..i really love the fireworks..cheers for all the athletes especially for the Singapore athletes for getting 2 silvers and 5 bronzes for Singapore..

Singapore flyer

Went to Singapore flyer today with ed..cos we got the free tics from the big walk so we need to use it before sept..

i was pretty excited in getting in the flyer although there was still a lot of constructions going on..cos its my 1st time ma..lol :) But sadly something happened and kind of spoilt the mood...Ed lost his iphone when he was taking pictures and when we realised the phone was already gone..super heartache and headache for him cos a lot of customers contacts are in the phone..haiz...
Anyway since we already changed the tics so we had to go up..

KTV

After work today met up with my ex-colleagues for KTV.. my favourite activity!!! we went to the ktv at chinatown which was super near my workplace..

Sis, mi, bobby and saumi..


We sang for 3 hrs only but bobby already sing until tired!!! lol :) he old le la..he was the one who wan to sing one leh.. Anyway had an enjoyable night with them..

YOG opening ceremony

Today went to the YOG opening ceremony..of course i cant get the tics to go in so i had to watch the fireworks at the esplanade area..

Photo session

My whole family went to a photo session today..cos my sis graduated le so my mum wan a new photo for our living room..

Then it was our turn..only took a few photos for the family and a few for my sis individual photo..Now awaiting to see and choose the photos after 18th then..hopefully i look nice..lol..

Kite flying

Today we went to marina barrage for kite flying and picnic..kindly organised by huimin..food sponsored by huimin too..Really luckily that it didn't rain cos of the grey grey sky!!!!!

There were too many people there flying kites and there were a lot of entangles here and there..in the end, 2 kites were sacrificed in the process..so sad!! luckily not our shark..lol :)

Then we had steamboat dinner..

Super hungry that we dumped everything in... :)

New job ..

Since dean ask about how my new job, i will just create a post for it then..lol..

1st day at work..new workplace, new colleagues and new instruments to learn, new methods to learn and new kind of samples to analyse..a new challenge again!!! everything had to start all over again..but it's interesting to be able to learn new things..need to squeeze in MRT every morning now cos workplace not in west area le..haiz..cant be home that early le..

Nothing much on the 1st day, reading and reading and attended a safety briefing..that's the end of day 1..

Day 2 was much more interesting..i started training for one of the simplest analysis..was briefed in the morning about the procedures 1st then watched her do the analysis while she explained..it was really quite an easy analysis..but i think it's the 1st time i encounter blood samples, i felt a little uncomfortable..i think i will have to get used to it bah..hopefully i can overcome that..jia you!!
