Farewell dinner

Today we had a farewell dinner..Wah..time really flies and i will be out of Switzerland in 3 days..
We went to a nice restaurant near the office..

We had a drink outside while waiting for Thierry(my manager here) to arrive..
Then we went inside for dinner and we had cheese fondue..my 1st fondue although i was here for almost 2 months..lol :)

It was a great evening with all of them..really will miss the good times here with all of them..

Today we planned to go to the alps and touched the snow as requested by Liling before she came..so i did..ask Petra which alps should we go since now its still autumn maybe not much snow now..And she was kind enough to check it out for me and offer to bring us there too..

We had a hearty breakfast..with luncheon meat which i miss a lot..bought by them from Singapore..

We set off at 10am in Petra's car to Charmonix...

And here we are..at the foot of the alps...It was zero degree on top so we had 3 layers on us..

And we were at the top...the 1st time i saw snow and touched too..it was amazing..the 3 of us had snow fight and fun with the snow..lol :) Luckily the weather was great!! no wind and was kind of sunny so it was not that cold..except for the hands when touching the snow...

We were so lucky to be able to see para gliders again for mi..they were in a big group..and we watched as one by one of them go..

After that, we went down to the town and eat our late lunch at this restaurant which i tink omelettes was the speciality and there were a lot of different types of omelettes

In the end, all of us had omelettes..

Then we went home after the lunch and we were all sooooo tired but really happy!! i was so happy to see my 1st snow in my life...Cool!!!

Today Liling and Kaiyip arrived in Switzerland le...YEAH!! Woke up early to clean up the house especially for them, do the beds and blankets for them too..i wan to be a good host ma..like real!!

Went to pick them up at around 12plus pm..so happy to see friends here..After bringing to put their luggage at my small apartment, we went for lunch at the Chinese restaurant where i ate during my 1st days..

After lunch, bought them around Lausanne central..went to St Francois, Cathedral Notre-Dame and shopping area at Rippone..

Then soon it was late and the shops are closed..sianzzz..want to shop also cannot..so went home and prepare our 1st dinner in Switzerland..

Tomorrow will be a icy day..we will be going up to the alps to see snow..cos LL say she wan to go touch the snow..so i made arrangement with my colleague so she will pick us up and go up to the alps....i am really really scared of the cold..Petra say its zero degree up the top..Argh!!! i need to wear a lot a lot of layers...

5th and last parcel

Today i went to collect my 5th and should be the last parcel in Switzerland..Its from Shuang Jie and Huimin..

So cute..so sad i cant be home to celebrate lantern festival but i still can eat mooncakes here..really cool!!

Tomorrow LL and KY will be here le..yeah!! so excited to see them...i will have to clean up my house in the morning then fetch them at the train station in the afternoon..
So good to have friends coming!!!
