HAlloween

Been waiting for this day to come..but no feeling very well since afternoon..so been thinking can i go ma??i need to rest at hm..so uncomfortable..but in the end, pushed myself there cos i wan to join in the fun..already promised lynn tat i will go le..so muz go!!!

went to bee leng hm to dress up for the Halloween party at zouk..need to dress up and then can get in for free..so we went to buy the cape and accessories especially for this day..

thanks bee leng for lending her hm and cooking nice pasta for dinner..

when we got there, there was already a very very long queue...OMG!!

the most interesting part was we get to see many pple in many different and interesting costumes in the queue..some horrifying, some funny, some creative..

but in the end, we all didnt managed to go in for free...sad!!! cos we r all not qualified..haiz..need to pay to go in so we went......................................

surprisingly there was a lot of famous pple eating there: Diya the superstar, lee wei song & si song lao shi and li fei hui lao shi also..they mux be hungry after the singapore hits awards bah...

Miao dad

Early in the morning when i on my hp, saw a sms frm shan saying tat miao dad pass away le..
its so sudden..nv hear tat her dad was ill or wat..so tat nite after work nv go for kickboxing and went to the wake with my friends..wanted to see if miao was alright..

so went hm for a quick dinner and bath, reached there at abt 7plus..saw my dear miao..luckily she seemed alright to mi..jia you miao!! take care!! you had a greater responsibilty in the future le..

After work went to catch a movie with my sisters..so long nv 3 of us go out le..so met at jp for a horror movie..although i dun really wan to watch tat movie..i wan to watch "brother" one but they want to watch horror..haiz..ya forget to tell u all the movie title " the last breath"

It's a disaster movie..dun really know wat the show was toking abt..jump for one scene to another..repeat and repeat the same scene again and again..dun really know wat the director wan to express..highly recommend not to watch...

A shopping sunday!!

Since its sunday..nothing much to do so my sis wan to go walk walk at imm and had lunch..

so went to ljs to eat lunch..walk pass a shop tat sell egg tarts but size like cupcake..looks delicious..so decided to buy hm and try..one costs $1.20 quite ex for tat small..went to buy 4 different flavour of tarts when we were about to leave..my younger sis wan banana but irritating auntie in front of mi snatched the last banana one..sian..need to wait for 30 mins..OMG!! so in the end went to giant to continue walking..

Then in the end, spend more $$$ by buying instant noodles and icecream..becos of this cd loh..

dean girl i really bought this cd and spend $8.90 for 4 icecream cones..but the quality of the video really blur..gonna cheated!! haizz...

Kelly at NUS

went off early today cos i need to rush to NUS to catch kelly poon concert..my sis friend got her tics and had extra so i went..so long nv go back sch le so go back see see also quite gd wat..lol..

reached there at abt 6pm..concert starting at 7pm..so went for dinner at my familiar science canteen..miss the feeling of studying, eating in the canteen..decided to eat western food but still the same, the queue was long..

the whole concert started at abt 7.50pm.. so late rite???haizz....waited for so long..but her performance was quite gd..live singing was quite stable and she can dance quite well too..

Kick boxing class

Started my kickboxing class today after work..but cos it started at 8pm..so i had a lot of spare time to spend since my official off work time was 5.30pm..sadly, no one was free to accompany for dinner..the earliest time tat niang could reached was 7pm..so i stayed in the office to do my things until 6 plus, waited for that irregular bus to jp..luckily niang was nice to meet mi up for dinner before the class..so hungry!!!

when we reached the class then i realised tat the instructor was none other than the aerobics instructor of my company aerobics class..the world was so small..haha..and when i told her tat i was frm nestle and when she saw my name, she did remember mi although i dun really had the time to go for class in company..lol..

Really hope i can pushed myself to go for all kickboxing classes starting frm today..cos its so tiring after work then still have to go exercise..but i really do my exercise la..

Joan & huimin celebration

Happy belated birthday to Joan & Niang!!

Organised a small gathering cum celebration for them..nian suggest to go prawn fishing at japanese garden..then dinner..so we met up at abt 3.30pm at and started our journey to find the prawn fishing location..we were led by niang cos only she went before..so we followed loh..but after walking a long time around the garden, we still cant find the way..its very hot tat day too..sweating!! in the end, the leader gave up..suggested to go sing ktv..got aircon some more..so we changed the plan..on the way to the bus stop, we saw a big big big iguana..really very big..

suddenly realised that K box had a promotion from 14 Oct -18 or 19 Oct, k box 5th anniversary so $5++ per person only..anytime..so cheap!! haha..so sang from 5pm-8pm then went for dinner at the nearby kopitiam..went to IMM to accompany my friend to shop around then went hm sleep!!!!

Went to queensway to buy niang present..met up with miao and niang.. she wanted a pair of sport shoes..so of course had to make her wish come true la..lol..

surprisingly we 3 all very "you mo qi"..all wore pink colour tops..lol..

Brave one

after work met with my sister to watch movie "the brave one"..she won the premiere tics so it's free..we met at marina square..wanted to go for dinner before watching but time restriction so we had to buy nachos and hotdogs for our dinner..so ke lian!! really very hungry!!

both of us dun even know wat the movie was all abt..jux go in sit down..dun noe wat to expect!! in the begining, thought is it a horror movie..but its not..below is the synopsis:

New York radio host Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) has a life that she loves and a fianc she adores. All of it is taken from her when a brutal attack leaves Erica badly wounded and her fianc dead. Unable to move past the tragedy, Erica begins prowling the city streets at night to track down the men she holds responsible. Her dark pursuit of justice catches the publics attention, and the city is riveted by her anonymous exploits. But with the NYPD desperate to find the culprit and a dogged police detective (Terrence Howard) hot on her trail, she must decide whether her quest for revenge is truly the right path, or if she is becoming the very thing she is trying to stop.

Quite a great show le..got a lot of in-depth acting of jodie foster..her struggle inside her to take revenge or not..but the thing i dun like abt the movie is the ending msg..tat the detective actually let her kill in front of his very own eyes and not stop her but encourage her..even let her escape from the police arrest..OMG!!no wonder its NC 16..haiz..after watching the show realise tat it's real scary for pple to get guns easily in US..can anyhow shoot here and there..luckily i live in Singapore..lol..

farewell to seow tin

1st time that the whole lab go out for a gathering..this was a farewell dinner for da jie da cos she transferred to downstairs le..so our lab manager wan to treat her to dinner so we all very lucky to join in the fun and got a treat too..

Went to Crystal jade at Holland V for a sumptuous dinner..really a lot of things to eat..everyone got to chose one dish...of course we had to ask for vege for hhq la..he's a vegetarian for your info..

luckily there are still meat for mi and not all vege...lol..

After dinner, went to our favourite hangout place "settlers cafe"..a lot of them were 1st time there including our lab manager..we were real scared tat it will be very awkward tat we all go and play games..cos we were all rough and crazy when playing..so dun noe our manager will be able to blend into our craziness ma???

But surprisingly, she did..had a great time playing all sorts of reflex games, intelligent games too of course..had a gd time laughing and joking around..

Really enjoyed it a lot..hopefully there will be another chance for a lab gathering again!!

Meet Niang

meet someone for dinner after work..wanted to go buy birthday present and book the kickboxing classes at the CC..

too many pple, no seats available so went to eat bentobox cos tat the only place with seats..my dear friend below ordered a hot green tea for her drink..when pressing the hot water for the green tea, dun noe how to stop the water..hot water overflow..she tried to pour the hot water away so tat she can hold the cup and then.........................................scalded her fingers........


so in the end, we end up in the clinic at 6th floor of JP..she went to see doc..and her hand.....being covered with cream......OMG!! who can imagine this could happened during dinnertime at JP???so she learnt a lesson: Never to order hot drink outside again!!!!

Inauguration day

Inauguration day for our company today..quite a big day too..got a lot of distinguished guests coming..its like a reopening of the labs after the major renovation..we were all involved in different kinds of duty..i and most of the gals were assigned as usher..need to welcome the guests at the door, bring them to the function room, introduce them to the managers..etc..need to walk back and fro..tiring leh..anyway the pics below r the results of our makeup artist Ms Lynn Ong..
we did all the makeup in the stuffy, dirty toilet....lol...but it was fun!!!
